What is Cloud Lattuce?

Cloud Lattuce is the hosted version of Lattuce at lattuce.app — a research workspace for academic writing, language learning, and notes. Writer covers papers, sources, Polish, and missions; Study adds library courses and exam prep; Learner adds spaced-repetition reading and vocabulary; Notes covers vault, tasks, and calendar; Library is the shared catalog across papers, sources, and notes.

How is Writer different from Learner?

Writer focuses on papers, sources, Polish, missions, and bibliography workflows under /papers and /library. Learner focuses on importing texts, vocabulary, and review queues under /learn. Study adds course-based exam prep under /study. All share your household account when signed in.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. You can sign up and use core Writer, Study, Learner, Notes, and Library features on the free plan. Paid plans add AI missions, sharing, collaboration, and other features listed on the pricing page.

Accounts & access

How do I sign in?

Use Sign in on the home page or in product chrome. If sign-up is limited to invited emails or specific domains, you will see a short notice on the sign-in form.

What is a household?

A household groups members under one billing subscription. Pro and Advanced plans include multiple seats; Starter is for a single member. Invite flows live under account and household settings after you subscribe.

Billing & plans

Which plans are available?

Starter, Pro, and Advanced are listed on the pricing page with localized checkout. Prices at checkout are authoritative. Higher tiers include AI missions, sharing, and household collaboration.

How do I cancel or change my plan?

Open Billing settings to manage your subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period unless you choose immediate cancellation in the billing portal.

How do refunds work?

Refund eligibility depends on jurisdiction and circumstances. Cancel from Billing settings to stop renewals; email the billing channel on the contact page if you believe a charge was in error. See the refund policy page for cancellation and refund details.

Data & privacy

Where is my data stored?

Your papers, notes, and other content are stored securely to operate Cloud Lattuce. Payment details are handled by our payment processor — see the privacy policy for details.

Can I export my work?

Writer, Notes, and Library include export options for papers, sources, and notes. Contact support if you need help exporting before closing your account or changing plans.

How do I delete my account?

Open Account settings → Data & account to delete your account yourself. We remove notes, manuscripts, and private uploads; open-access bibliography metadata may stay in the shared catalog; Learner content is kept unless you opt in on the delete screen. Cancel billing first if you subscribe. See our guide on leaving cleanly or the privacy policy for retention detail; email the contact page for edge cases.

How do you use cookies?

Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your cookie choice. Optional cookies remember product and language preferences and stay off until you accept them in the cookie footer. We do not use advertising cookies. Open Cookie settings in the site footer or see the cookie policy to change your choice.
