By creating an account, signing in, or paying for a plan, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Cloud Lattuce.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and authorized to accept these terms on behalf of yourself or your household.

Cloud Lattuce is a research workspace for academic writing, language learning, and notes. It includes:

• Writer — Papers, sources, Polish, missions, and bibliography workflows.
• Study — Library courses, Q&A, mock exams, and spaced-repetition review.
• Learner — Text import, vocabulary, and review queues.
• Contribute — Suggest translations for the public corpus and track personal progress.
• Notes — Vault, whiteboards, tasks, boards, and calendar.
• Library — Browse papers, sources, notes, and graded readers in one catalog.

We may add, change, or remove features. What each plan includes is described on the pricing page and in your account billing settings.

Sign in with the options shown on the site. If registration is limited to invited emails or specific domains, you will see a notice on the sign-in form.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

A household groups members under one billing subscription. The household owner manages invites and plan changes.

Paid plans (Starter, Pro, and Advanced) are sold through our payment processor as merchant of record. They collect payment, applicable sales tax or VAT, and issue receipts. Prices shown at checkout are authoritative.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in the billing portal (via Billing settings) or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewals; access typically continues until the end of the paid period unless you choose immediate cancellation in the portal. We may change plan prices or packaging for new purchases. We will give reasonable notice before price changes affect an existing subscription where our payment processor or applicable law requires it.

You agree not to:

• Use Cloud Lattuce for unlawful activity or to violate others’ rights.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without permission.
• Attempt to circumvent billing, plan limits, or access controls.
• Submit spam, machine-copied, or low-effort translation suggestions in Contribute.
• Overload or interfere with the service (including automated abuse).
• Upload malware or content you do not have the right to store or process.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose risk to the service or other users.

You retain ownership of papers, notes, sources, and other material you upload or create. You grant us a limited license to host, back up, process, and display that material solely to operate and improve the features you use — including AI-assisted workflows when your plan includes them.

You represent that you have the rights needed for your content and that it does not infringe third-party rights. We are not obligated to monitor user content but may remove material that violates law or these terms.

Contribute lets signed-in users suggest translations for rights-cleared public corpus segments. Suggestions are reviewed by editors before they are approved, indexed for translation memory, or counted toward rewards.

When you submit a suggestion, you grant us a license to host, review, and — if approved — redistribute your translation under the corpus license shown for that component (for example CC0 or CC-BY). You represent that your suggestion is your own work or that you have the rights to submit it.

Optional promotional rewards may credit your household with additional AI usage budget (shown as estimated tokens, not cash). Rewards are monthly-capped, may be clawed back if a contribution is disputed or unlocked, and do not create a right to payment, employment, or withdrawal. Rewards may be disabled on any environment.

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, outages, or issues with partners that help us run Cloud Lattuce can affect access.

Beta or experimental features may be offered as-is and can change or be withdrawn without notice.

You may stop using the service and cancel subscriptions as described above. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, or prolonged inactivity where permitted by law.

After termination, we may delete or retain account data according to our Privacy Policy and operational needs. Export your work through in-app export options before closing an account when available.

Cloud Lattuce is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Lattuce assists research and writing; it does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for verifying citations, compliance, and outcomes of your work.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to Cloud Lattuce is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose (or one hundred euros if you have not paid fees). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations — in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

We may update these terms. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes for active subscribers will be communicated through the service or email where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
